AZERTAC, Jordan New Agency Petra’s collaboration to facilitate information exchange
Jordan's Petra News Agency is always ready for open and constant cooperation with AZERTAC, said Petra’s Director-General Fairouz Mubaideen as he met with Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Jordan Shahin Abdullayev.
The meeting was also attended by Chairman of Petra's Board of Directors Nabil Ghaishan.
Fairouz Mubaideen highlighted Petra's position in the national information space, as well as its activities at regional and international levels. The news agency's commitment to being a trusted source by focusing on official, accurate, and prompt news, while also prioritizing broader collaboration with international news outlets were also emphasized.
During the meeting, Ambassador Shahin Abdullayev provided insight into the activity of the Azerbaijan State News Agency (AZERTAC), expressing his confidence that enhancing cooperation between AZERTAC and Petra would contribute to boosting mutual information exchange and fostering mutual understanding between peoples.
Fairouz Mubaideen noted that the Jordanian press has extensively covered the cooperation in tourism and investment opportunities between the two countries, stressing that greater promotion of the rich tourism potential and favorable investment climate of both countries through the media will contribute to the development of mutually beneficial economic relations.
In his remarks, Nabil Ghaishan highlighted the friendly and brotherly relations between Azerbaijan and Jordan, emphasizing that the high level of mutual respect and cooperation between President Ilham Aliyev and Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein, King of Jordan, contributed to the development of relations between the two countries and peoples.
He also underscored the importance of the mutual support of the two countries in global and regional organizations in strengthening strategic partnership and regional stability.
