Azerbaijani Ambassador to Jordan attends Mawlid celebration
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Jordan Sabir Aghabayov has participated in the Muslims 'mawlid', the celebration of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad, held at King Abdullah I Mosque, Amman.
Participants in the event included King Abdullah II, Prince Hussein, the Prime Minister, officials, the Chief of Staff of the Jordanian Armed Forces, muftis and heads of diplomatic missions of the Muslim countries.
Attending the event Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Hayel Dawood, Mufti Ahmed Al Hilayel, senator Naval Fauri provided an insight into the life of the Prophet Muhammad, and stressed that learning from Prophet Muhammad’s life is the way through which today’s problems can be solved and justice can be ensured.
