Azerbaijani embassy raising Jordanian society`s awareness of the country`s accomplishments
Azerbaijan`s embassy in Amman is promoting the country`s achievements through local media outlets as leading Jordanian newspapers publish articles highlighting the Azerbaijani presidential election, and praising the results of President Ilham Aliyev`s policy.
Al-Dustur newspaper published article headlined “Target-2020. New development concept of Azerbaijan” (http://pdfstore.addustour.com/1/1/32/89887489_12-local.pdf).
The article was devoted to the Concept “Azerbaijan 2020: a look into the future” approved by decree of the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in 2012. The author highlights Azerbaijan`s achievements from 2003 to 2013, including in political, economic, humanitarian, cultural and sports fields. The article says the concept determines main directions and targets for development of the country in the future. The author notes that the document covers all aspects of the country`s life.
The article also touches upon friendship and brotherhood relations between King Abdullah II and President Ilham Aliyev, saying it makes great contribution to further developing cooperation. The newspaper says the two countries have signed about 40 agreements.
